Depth of Sadness is a new EP by Downtempo-Techno artist Jeremy Davies, better known as SLOWNOISE. This 4 track project was just released by Cold Tear Records of Lithuania, whom always seem to release quality tunes. This brief yet brilliant project is equally satisfying as it is relaxing, like a nice meal and a good beer. Well rounded synths and electronics balance perfectly with relaxed and subdued rhythms, with each track holding an energy of its own. Currently the EP is only available for download via Cold Tear Records Bandcamp page.

Rebecca is back! It’s been a while since Rebecca Peake has dropped one of her amazingly dense and diverse albums, 2013 to be exact, so it’s a pleasure to be treated to another collection of tunes as interesting as they are beautiful. Apparently a collection of older and remixed/mastered work, I would be nonethewiser as this sounds as fresh as anything else! Limbless is a remarkable album that takes the listener through many genres and styles, all of them done tastefully and quite satisfying. I am especially a fan of some of the vocals on this album.

Orange Milk Records recently dropped a new tape of glowing future-funk goodness, Waterbed, from producer Tendencies. This is a 6 track project full of energy and awesome beats. Not shy on the use of vocal samples, it makes this a very poppy and listenable tape. Packed with wicked bass-lines and catchy melodies, this one is definitely worth a listen.
