Feast your eyes and your ears upon the brilliant dark thickness of Soy Sauce!
We are very excited to premier this amazingly twisted music video for Eternity Hotlines’ track from their latest album, Super Glue.
The video itself is a fun journey through a bleak yet surreal world – scooting playfully along the edge of the void whilst having an out-of-body experience.
Retro polygonal forms flicker in and out of existence atop an abyssal pool, dark as soy sauce! Eventually we wake up in our dentists office – that was one powerful dose of anesthetic, we think to ourselves. Perhaps it was laced with something more powerful…
Be sure to check out the full album from Eternity Hotline, which we took a close listen to recently!

Hypnotist is a mellow IDM experience from producer Toxic Chicken, presented by Earthrid.
The 9 track project dances around experimental styles, touching on bit-crushed beats and melodic ambient atmospherics, all tied together by warm electronics. Pounding acid synths sit comfortably next to swooping fuzzy pads as the songs hop along.
There is an interesting overall energy to the album – at times becoming quite rowdy and avant-garde, yet maintaining a firm grounded feeling. The result is a very accessible experimental album – perfect for new ears to this type of freeform experimental electronic sound. With its playful diversity and satisfying and subtly melancholy undertones, this one should definitely be in your listening queue!

Well HELLO there readers! It certainly has been a while since we had one of these!

Beautiful experimental electronics from Finnish producer Boi Borzoi. Utilizing a unique multi-genre approach, Boi Borzoi manages to fuse together concepts from Modern Classical, Jazz and Post-Rock into something that is both familiar yet entirely fresh.

Tomorrow Entertainment Records is a label with a catalog as satisfying as it is unique. Embracing a multi-genre umbrella approach, they have helped release music from a wide range of genres, created by producers all over the world!
With a primarily digital catalog that is often-if-not-always on sale, there is no excuse NOT to dive into their world, which is exactly what we are about to do….
We are very sorry to announce that Tomorrow Entertainment Records has received a DCMA takedown, resulting in the disappearance if the entire catalog on Bandcamp. Depending on what TER does moving forward, we will make adjustments to the article and links!Continue reading “Tomorrow Entertainment Records”

Somewhere inbetween the tops of clouds and the beginning of the starry sky exists “Dream Mediations” – an album by Covolux released by Earthrid Records.
Beautiful ambient-drone compositions with a big emotional injection. Often such ethereal productions can lean in one direction or the other, being steeped in nostalgic melancholy or otherwise totally void of humanity opting for a more studious view – here in Dream Mediations I find a wonderful balance of the two.
With the bulk of the sounds being triumphant and compassionate, Covolux lulls the listener into a comfortable state – the perfect de-arming to swoop in and take control of our minds, steering us around the landscape and showing us personal highlights. Atmospheric turns into a too-good descriptor, as I found each composition instilling me with a sense of flight, as if I were in a waking dream – able to launch off and glide above my surroundings at any moment…
Overall the album is a very relaxing listen, and would be quite at home during a personal meditation session or calm rainy mornings. Blissful drones give way to more energy and movement in tracks such as “Acts of Kindness”, which fully embraces the orchestral instrumentation of the project and steers head-on into modern classical territory – while slightly out of place with the rest of the tracks, it’s turned into one of my favorites!
You can download and stream the album for free or name-your-own-price via Earthrid’s Bandcamp page!

Fresh and fascinating sounds from Rei Low, brought to us by the Holojamz crew – seemingly a collection of what might be considered *B-Sides* (please correct me if I am wrong). Rei explores many different styles and genres on this release which is to be expected from such a release – however the variety lends perfectly to the chaotic raw style presented, with the tracklist jumping around to showcase influences of hip-hop and jungle with a touch of vaportrap. If these were indeed “Lost Tapes”, b-sides or tracks that didn’t make other albums – regardless, I am glad Rei Low decided to package them up and release them for us, as it’s a very nice collection of sounds and worth listen.

Beautiful experimental electronics from MOONSPOTTER – hopping between experimental ambience, trip hop, spoken word and downtempo electronics. I will need someone to swoop in with some translation expertise, but there is a heavy emotion vibe seated around these tracks – washed out guitars soar and glide around subtle percussion, sealing the atmosphere in a rich and lavish cocoon. There is something deeply satisfying about these tracks that I cannot explain, but I needed to share, so here you are…..

Unique Avant-Garde electronics from Indian artist Bio Contrast. Construct is a thoughtful exploratory EP consisting of 3 tracks, gliding from static deconstructions into blissful atmospherics and back again. Though altogether less than 10 minutes long – the sonic expanse is astounding – with the concept truly fleshing out by reaching the 3rd track. It’s textural, emotional, and interesting – one of the more rewarding shortform experimental listens I have had the pleasure to enjoy recently. The project is streaming on all platforms as well as for sale over at bandcamp, so show some support! I am looking forward to digging into this artists back catalog, as this was my first exposure to their creations…..
